Differences Between Classical and Flamenco
Both classical guitar and flamenco guitar originated in Spain, but time has changed, there are some very important differences in the modern construction of both of them.
Differences in wood, due to characteristics of classical song, classical guitars usually use cedar top and rosewood back and sides to pursue the appropriate tone(now some manufacturers also use spruce and mahogany). Flamenco guitars usually made of spruce tops and lighter weight woods like cypress as back and sides. So we can tell by the color and woods, usually the darker color wood is the classica guitar.

In addition to the difference in material, there is also a difference in the thickness of the guitar barrel between the two. Compared to classical guitars, flamenco guitars have thinner barrels and lighter weight due to the material of the wood and its' thickness.
The difference in configuration and material creates a different tone between the two.
The classical guitar will have a sweeter, softer tone as well as longer sustain.
Flamenco guitars, on the other hand, have a brighter, more punchy tone with relatively short sustain but rapid feedback.
